Troodos traditions draw a crowd

A report published by Cyprus Mail on 13 September says thousands attended the third Let’s Go Troodos festival, bringing mountain producers and craftspeople together at the Presidential Residence.
The event took place on 6 September—not yesterday. Its programme combined local food, traditional music and hands-on workshops, from weaving to cooking. The residence’s grounds opened specially for the occasion; this is not an announcement of regular public access.
Cyprus Mail also reports that Mountains Commissioner Charalambos Christofinas confirmed a return next year with additional activities. No 2027 date is given in the report.
Why it matters to visitors: the festival highlights opportunities to discover Cypriot food and craftsmanship beyond the coast.
